Our units do not need to be annually calibrated by the manufacturer, but we do recommend that every 5 years units are returned to us for a service.
Our ultrasonic instrumentation services include a repair service for all our products, but please contact the Technical Department before returning a unit as we may be able to help without the unit being shipped to our factory.
or +44 (0)20 8333 2288 and ask for the Technical Department.
If it is necessary for the unit to be returned please ship the goods to:

VERY IMPORTANT If you are returning from outside the UK then please mark the invoice with the 3 following important pieces of information.
1. Custom Procedure Code
2. Commodity Code
3. Value of the Goods
If these are not clearly marked on the commercial invoice that accompanies the goods overseas then you may be liable for import and export duty. Please contact us if you have any questions or speak to your chosen shipping agent.
Please also note, your shipping agent may ask for multiple copies of the commercial invoice to travel with the unit for custom purposes, please confirm with them how many copies you will need.
Import duty is based on the reason for the shipment, the precise nature of the goods and their value. If you follow these guidelines no duty should be charged.
1 Custom Procedure Code (CPC)
Please state clearly on the invoice and Shipping Documentation:

Your unit will be returned to you with the statement
EXPORT USING CPC 3151000 - GOODS OF UNITD KINGDOM ORIGIN BEING RE-EXPORTED TO CUSTOMER AFTER RETURN TO UK FOR REPAIR.
2 Commodity Code
The Commodity Code (also called Tariff Code) offers a universal and globally recognised description of the goods. Each of our products has a different code. Please write the description of the goods thus:

3 Value of the Goods
When completing the commercial invoice it important to put the true value of the goods, so please state whatever you believe the unit to be worth on the invoice. This figure will be dependent on the purchase price, the length of time in service and the general condition of the unit.
